Late morning Tuesday, February 23 and I was on-air pitching the Wide Open Spaces program with Roark during the Winter Fund Drive.
A tall, middle-aged anglo man in a long duster came up to the KPFT front door. Tony Cox, our front desk interface, buzzed him into the lobby. He approached the reception desk and placed a cold brick on the counter. Around the brick, secured by rubber bands, were 4 $100 bills.
